A PARTNERSHIP OF HOPE
In this world...
we often feel overwhelmed and powerless when
we hear about the global epidemic of AIDS.
In Africa...
AIDS has destroyed the lives of an entire
generation of adults, leaving hundreds of
thousands of orphans fighting for survival.
In Kenya...
the government provides education only
through 8th grade. It costs only $400 for a full
year of high school tuition and room and board,
an impossible amount for an orphan to pay.
In Portland...
Partners In Kenya, in association with Wash
Jo Humanitarian Outreach and Bethlehem
Lutheran Church, is a 100% non-profit endeavor
committed to giving AIDS orphans the chance
for survival and hope for the future. Partners In
Kenya pays for the educational expenses of high
school age children who might otherwise end
up on the street. Secondary education provides
them with the knowledge and skills to break the
cycle of poverty and misinformation associated
with the epidemic that took their parents' lives.
Partners In Kenya is committed to the belief that
every child is a precious and unique individual.
STOP FEELING POWERLESS.
